Dr. Renea Brathwaite

Dr. Renea Brathwaite is the Dean of Professional Studies at Vanguard University, originally from Barbados and the youngest of 10 siblings. Passionate about education, leadership, and faith, he believes learning is a powerful tool that breaks barriers and shapes lives.

After beginning a career in finance in New York, Renea followed a call into ministry, earning a master’s degree in theology, becoming an ordained Assemblies of God pastor, and later completing his PhD at Regent University. He and his wife, Joy, have been married for nearly 28 years and have two children. Today, he continues to inspire others through teaching, leadership, and a deep commitment to helping people grow spiritually and personally.
